Introduction

Approximately 50 youth, ages 18 through 21, exit out-of-home placement each year in Northern Colorado. Through its volunteers, Steppin' Out, Inc. strives to alleviate the difficult challenges faced by these displaced youth and make a significant difference in their lives. Organized in 2002, Steppin' Out, Inc. works to demonstrate that a concerned community exists for their benefit.
Youth participants must be taking steps to seek employment, further their education, and achieve self-sufficiency.
